Smart Spectrum Monitoring

Spectrum Analytics®

Spectrum Analytics® is implemented, on the one hand, in a set of software installed on operators’ computers and on the other hand, directly in the remote monitoring units of the LS OBSERVER system (FMU, TMU, PMU).

With the huge progress in computer technology over the last 20 years, it is now possible to have enormous computing power, large storage capabilities and connectivity all in a compact form, small, lightweight and requiring only reduced power for operation. LS telcom has taken full advantage of the latest embedded computer technologies to design its smart monitoring system LS OBSERVER. It integrates large storage and unique computing capabilities to enable the operation of LS telcom’s Spectrum Analytics® directly in the monitoring sensor. This new and unique approach to store and process spectrum data directly inside the remote sensor offers multiple advantages:

  • Stand-alone operation
  • Automated tasking and processing
  • Continuous operation 24/7 with real-time alerting from the remote sensor to the operators
